Slender Poem

Don't look.

It takes.

It took.

Not fake.

Unreal.

Impossible.

Big deal.

Unstoppable.

Hunts down.

Not thick.

Can't drown.

Super quick.

I warn.

Listen close.

Wasn't born.

No foes.

Doesn't breathe.

Doesn't speak.

Don't unsheathe.

You are too weak.

Don't even try.

You'll waste your breath.

It has no eyes.

Just cope with death.

You cannot run.

It seeks you out.

You'll have no fun.

Without a doubt.

Heed my advice.

Follow it well.

You'll pay the price.

When you're in H*ll.

Hear the static.

Observe the screams.

It's not dramatic.

It's not a dream.

Tech stuff shorts out.

Your flashlight dies.

Your sight whites-out.

Can't hear the lies.

Am I dead yet.

It tortures me.

And in my debt.

I must repeat:

It follows you.

You cannot run.

There is no two.

There's only one.

It has no eyes.

Watches your moves.

It doesn't die.

It WILL take you.

Leave me alone!

I'm not to blame.
